Hi, I’m Britney! It’s so nice to meet you (virtually).

When I purchased my first camera, I genuinely thought that it would just come with me on little adventures to take photos of my dogs. I never anticipated falling in love with photography the way I did. The more I took photos of my dogs & made my husband model for me (sorry Tanar I love you), the more confident I got with my camera. Once I started to grasp the concept of properly composing a photo, I began volunteering services to single moms or families of children with intellectual disabilities. Through this, I became infatuated with photography.

After losing my dog, Bella, to cancer in February of 2021, photography became therapy for me (cliche, I know but IT’S TRUE). For me, it is so much more than just taking photos. It’s about connecting with nature, getting to know strangers on a deeply personal level, living out new experiences and capturing moments on film that will last forever. I am beyond grateful every time I am even considered to capture these moments. I can promise you, it is not something I take lightly. I cry every time I edit a gallery. In my defense, I’m a highly emotional person (I cried watching Paul Blart Mall Cop). (Yes, you read that part in the parenthesis correctly, please ask me about this if you need to).

Anyways, clearly I’m an open book and I can go on forever about why I LOVE this. Don’t hesitate to reach out for any questions, comments, ideas, whatever. I love hearing from you all. Thank YOU for taking the time to read this and I hope to talk to you soon.

In honor of the one and only Bella bean. I hope to always make you proud.
